Juan Carlos De La Llera M. - Profesor Titular

Experto en modelamiento estructural, dinámica estructural, sistemas de reducción de vibraciones, y riesgo. Sus áreas de investigación actualmente cubren los siguientes tópicos: (i) aislamiento sísmico de sistemas elastoméricos, friccionales, e híbridos; (ii) control de la respuesta estructural mediante disipadores metálicos, friccionales, viscoelásticos y amortiguadores de masa; (iii) dinámica de sistemas con acoplamiento lateral-torsional; (iii) control semiactivo de vibraciones en estructuras; (iv) modelamiento de problemas con grandes deformaciones; (v) soluciones de bajo costo para aislamiento sísmico en vivienda social; (vi) disipadores de energía para estructuras prefabricadas; (vii) riesgo en redes críticas; (viii) modelamiento de movimiento fuerte en base a interferometría. Cuenta con numerosas publicaciones en revista indexadas de alto prestigio y financiamiento proveniente de investigaciones Fondecyt, Fondef, y otros fondos gubernamentales. Ha recibido un número importante de reconocimientos que se recogen en el CV.
